I bought this one with very high hopes, the sound part's great but the image stopped working after about 2 months. I use it for my extra when I go out of town.
I use this one at work, love it!
At home, I use a LOUD fan I purchased at Sams! That way I get both a fan and loud noise all in one! I'm a freak about fans, I'll explain why in a future post about SIDS :(

I never had a white noise machine with my first two boys, but was given one with my third. Oh my! What I wish I had known. Great post!
My DS still uses the white noise machine, and he's almost 6! They are a lifesaver!
